  1. The 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

The sixth floor of the circa-1901 former Texas School Book Depository now houses exhibits of the life, death, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. The sixth floor of the museum was where Lee Harvey Oswald fired at least three shots that killed the President. The museum is one of the best places to visit in Dallas after moving to the city.

Dallas heritage village located at old city park houses some of the beautiful histories of the city as far back as the sixties. The park boasts of a large collection of 19th century Victorian homes, century pioneer and commercial structures. The old red museum of Dallas county history and culture sits inside the 1892 Richardsonian Romanesque courthouse building, which is barely a block from the famous Sixth Floor Museum.   1. AT&T Stadium

The magnificent Dallas Cowboys’ 3 million square feet $1.2 billion football palace in Arlington sits on 18.5 miles to the west of down town Dallas. There so many beautiful place to see at the amazing Dallas football home. Some of the places you shouldn’t miss are the post-game interview room, the field, the he Cowboys’ and Cowboys Cheerleaders’locker room and a whole lot more. The AT&T Stadium is one of the best places to visit in Dallas.

  1. Geo-Deck At Reunion Center

If you want to get a bird’s eye view of Geo-Deck, you can do so easily at the top of the big ball that sits at the west end of down town Dallas. Up there you can see Geo-Deck at 470 feet above the ground and you can see the Trinity River and Dealey Plaza from that spot. The Geo-Deck is certainly one of the best places to visit in Dallas.

  1. George W. Bush Presidential Center

This museum gives an awesome view of the eight years when George W. Bush was in office. The center also houses a replica of the oval office and an emotional section of 9/11. There is also a bit of humor at the centera video of a presidential impersonator making several attempts at teaching George Bush how to say “Nuclear Proliferation”. The  George W. Bush Presidential Center is one of the best places to visit in Dallas.

  1. Pioneer Plaza

The key attraction at this 4-acre green space is the herd of almost 50 1,200-pound bronze steers, horses and cowboys, made by artist Robert Summers of Glen Rose, a waterfall, and man-made cliffs. Other fascinating places you should see at the Plaza are the Shawnee Trail the gravesites of many of Dallas’ founding mothers and fathers, Pioneer Cemetery, as well as the 60-foot-tall Confederate Memorial. The Pioneer Plaza is one of the best places to visit in Dallas.

The $110 million Klyde Warren Park sits on a 5.2-acre built at the top of a busy down town freeway. There are several ways of having fun at the park as there are ping pong tables and equipment on-site, a dog park, you can enjoy the performance of the theater and dance troupes, or you can spend some time at the reading area with magazines and books. Whatever you choose to do, it’s never a dull moment at the Klyde Warren Park, its one of the best places to visit in Dallas.

  1. Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas world aquarium is home to many animals including crocodiles, birds, monkeys, Antillean manatees, gigantic cat fish, sea turtles, jaguars, panthers, a 400,000-gallon shark tank and friendly sloth and penguin feedings. The aquarium also boasts of a 40-foot waterfall and thrilling Mayan dance performance.
